ABOUT THE ARTIST | STUDIO MADLY
Art has been a defining trait for Maddy since pretty much birth. Based in Encinitas, CA, it's consistently what brings her back to the present moment and ultimately her true authenticity. Her family is full of creatively gifted individuals and they all had their own version of practicing art. She dabbled in everything creative. You'd find her coloring as a 2 year old, drawing up fashion illustrations at the age of 11 or drawing blueprints at the age of 16. She really tried it all until she found her niche in graphic design.
It was always this deep calling that whispered she needed to pursue something creative on her own. Originally Maddy was set on becoming an Architect. That ultimately did not feel right in her body, there was more she was searching for. (We can save that story for another day). A series of events that were out of her control pushed her out of architecture, urging her to step into freelance work. It's been the best thing that's ever happened to her.
Maddy loves the entrepreneurship, freedom, variety and interest that this work brings. And most of all the incredible people she's met along the way have proven that this is exactly what she's meant to do.
